Time Trial

This course is a flat course and will have a uphill climp of 133 m/418 ft. This makes the course perfect for Time Trial and ideal for new records; both personal and in Gran Fondo regi.

The course follows the beautiful coast along the Limfjord.

In Denmark we have wind from West approx. 220 days a year which means that you normally will discover headwind on your way out and a nice tailwind on your way back to the finish line.

The course is almost identical to the course used in 2022 and 2023 for the National Championships in Denmark. In June this year Mrs. Emma Norsgaard Bjerg, Movistar (Winner of the 6th stage at Tour de France – femmes) won the national championships in TT. And the Men Elite was won by Mr. Kasper Asgreen, Soudal-Quickstep (stage winner 18th stage at Tour de France 2023 and winner of Tour of Flanders 2021). Both these riders loved this course and their feedback was clear – this is a perfect Time Trial course!

Road Race

The course will have a start and finish line in the heart of Aalborg, where you will find a cozy and bikefriendly atmosphere.

This will be your chance to ride like the pros, as the Road Race will take place in the area where Jonas Vingegaard and Michael Valgren as young riders often trained.

In Denmark we can’t provide mountains but the course will have many small step hills and some technical sections – we are sure that the course will challenge you in a perfect way!

The race is primarily on asphalt paved roads and one cobbles-section.

Distance Gran Fondo: 151 km - elevation 1.314 meters // 93,7 miles - elevation 4.312 ft. 

Distance Medio Fondo: 111, 6 km - elevation 946 meters // 69,3 miles - elevation 3.103 ft.

Team Relay

The course for Team Relay will be in the beautiful surroundings by Musikkens Hus (The House of Music) and Aalborg Habourfront. 

This course will invite maximum speed as it is flat and without technical sections. Also it is close to the city center so many spectators will find their way to cheer for the riders.
